Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically generate a staircase going-up/down action having a sensation of reality, with regard to the walking action generation processing method for generating a walking action of a person by using computer graphics.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of generating a walking action of a person by using computer graphics(CG), in a process for generating a walking pattern with respect to the given environment, it is generated automatically by using a model of a figure of the lower half of the body in the moment when the sole of a foot is grounded on a staircase and an exercise model of the upper body.supportting leg and an idle leg until reaching the next moment when the sole of a foot is grounded, with respect to the upper half of the body and the lower half of the body approximated by a rigid body bar.
