Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking aid capable of prompting a care receiver having difficulty in self-standing to recover a walking feeling and walking functions and reducing a load applied to a caregiver.SOLUTION: A right-foot swing arm 40R, one end of which is fixed to a right femoral area RF of a care receiver P, and a left-foot swing arm 40L, one end of which is fixed to the left femoral area LF of the care giver P are fitted to a support frame 20 substantially perpendicularly erected from a base frame 10, so as to rotationally turn about a rotary shaft 41. The respective foot-swing arms 40L and 40R include grip parts 46 at the other end sides thereof for being held by the hands of the caregiver. The right femoral area RF and the left femoral area LF of the care receiver are alternately vertically moved by vertically moving the respective grip parts 46.
