Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking pole enabling an elderly person or a slightly disabled person, having a weak muscle force in a front arm part, to retain a joint angle of a wrist joint reliably and to support a body appropriately without being shaken.SOLUTION: The walking pole includes: a shaft body 1; a grip 2 provided on an upper end of the shaft body 1 and gripped by a user; and a ferrule provided on a lower end of the shaft body 1. The grip 2 includes a finger receiving face 15 as grip direction regulation means for regulating a front/rear grip direction by the user. When the user sets the pole so that a center axis S of the shaft body 1 is along a vertical line by using the grip direction regulation means, a center axis G of the grip 2 is inclined rearward with respect to the center axis S of the shaft body 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
