PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking support machine which can safely support walking of an elderly person etc. without exchanging position information with an external device, and can support comfortable outing of the elderly person etc..SOLUTION: A walking support machine includes a surrounding condition detection device 20 comprising: a current position acquisition unit 201 which acquires a current position; a dangerous state determination unit 204 which determines a dangerous state in a range set around the current position on the basis of map information and set dangerous information; and a notification unit 205 which outputs notification information on the basis of a result of the determination by the dangerous state determination unit 204.
