In the walking type mobile agricultural machine, the rear end 20a of a tank cover 20 and the front end 23a of a speed change guide panel 23 which are opposite to each other are formed so as to be substantially continuous along each other when viewed from an upper part and a rear part of a machine body 12. The lower end 20b of the side face of the tank cover 20 and the upper face 25a of a muffler cover 25 opposite to each other are formed along each other in a side view. The side face front end 23b of the speed change guide panel 23 and a rear end 25b of the muffler cover 25 opposite to each other are also formed along each other. Thus, the internal structure such as an engine 13, a speed change transmission unit and a muffler can be reliably covered to enhance safety.
