Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type robot capable of position movement by any one of running, walking and sliding.
SOLUTION: This walking type robot is a moving type robot furnished with a lower half body made of at least more than two legs and an upper half body provided on an upper part of the lower half body and includes an inclination detection part to detect an inclination of a floor, a rotation means provided on a lower part of each of the legs and a control part to control whole-body movement using the lower half body and the upper half body. Hereby, the control part adjusts rotating speed of the rotation means in accordance with the inclination of the floor detected by the inclination detection part and controls the whole-body movement so that the position movement by any one of running, walking and sliding at the adjusted rotating speed. Consequently, the walking type robot can selectively carry out the optimum position movement method in accordance with a peripheral state.
