Abstract:

To provide a walking type supervising machine capable of solving the problem that fuel efficiency is deteriorated based on a high speed rotation of an engine when a travel clutch is disengaged, and also capable of achieving a reduction of operational load and the improvement of operational efficiency, by eliminating the need for operating an engine control lever when interrupting or resuming operation.

The walking type supervising machine includes: a machine body, which travels by the power of the engine; a handle extended from the machine body; a deadman type travel clutch lever, which engages a travel clutch by performing gripping operation with the operation of a handle grip portion and which disengages the travel clutch by performing non-gripping operation of releasing a hand; and an engine rotation changing means, which sets an engine rotation to set operational rotation interlocking with the gripping operation of the travel clutch lever, which sets the engine rotation to low-speed rotation according to the disengagement operation of the travel clutch lever, and which changes the set engine rotation when the gripping operation of the travel clutch lever is performed.
