Title:
WALKING TYPE WORKING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3389012
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily allow a walking type working machine to travel across a channel in a case where a running path such as a farm road is divided by an irrigation channel in such a way as crossing the traveling path and no footboard is built across there by constituting a front wheel and a rear wheel as drive wheels respectively.
SOLUTION: A walking type mowing machine 1 is made to cross over an irrigation channel and the like which is formed across a farm road by dividing the traveling path. At first, a preceding one wheel out of a front wheel 9 and a rear wheel 10 is held up so that the machine travels only by the other wheel. As the preceding one wheel reaches the traveling path in the other side of the channel, the one wheel is made to ground and at the same time the other wheel is held up. The device is thus operated by traveling with only the preceding one wheel. The front wheel 9 and the rear wheel 10 are constituted as the drive wheels respectively so that the driving force for traveling the machine body can be sufficiently obtained from the drive force of only one wheel.
