To provide a walking type working vehicle capable of lightening the operation force of a main clutch while avoiding the position retaining force of the main clutch lever to be insufficient as well as preventing the malfunction of the traveling clutch mechanism by the vibration of the vehicle body.
The walking type working vehicle which is a cultivator 1 equipped with a running power transmission route for transmitting the power of an engine 3 to wheels 5 and a traveling clutch mechanism 8 disposed in the running clutch transmission route, further comprises a main clutch lever 19 for engaging/disengaging the traveling clutch mechanism 8 and an assist spring 44 for lightening the operation force of the main clutch lever 19 within a prescribed operating range, while retaining the main clutch lever 19 in every position.
