To provide an easy-to-handle wall body which can insulate a sound by a simple constitution, inside which wiring and an wiring instrument can be easily mounted without being hindered by a sound insulating material, and which can be equipped with a sound insulating structure by simplifying site work.
This wall body 3 is constituted by providing face plates 2 on both the sides of a plurality of juxtaposed vertical frames 1, respectively. An inside lower portion of the wall body 3 is divided into upper and lower portions by a horizontal partitioning frame material 4, so that a portion below the frame material 4 can serve as a wiring void space 5, and so that a portion above the frame material 4 can serve as a section 6 for internally mounting the sound insulating material. A lateral opening 8 for putting the sound insulating material 7 in the section 6 is formed on at least either of both the sides of the upper portion of the section 6.
