To provide a wall-hanging device that can be installed horizontally or perpendicularly to the wall surface by using no tools other than the wall-hanging device when hanging the device.
The wall-hanging device 10 mounted on a wall surface, which is set upright in a vertical direction, has a back-side housing 20 with a back plate on which two or more screw holes are bored and a front-side housing 30 to be fitted on to this back-side housing. The front-side housing has a housing body 32 with a top surface to be extended horizontally and a small freely mountable door 34 to be freely mounted such that it can be flexibly attached to and detached from the housing body. The small door is equipped with a hook projecting part in a position located weight balance-wise in the center, which performs a fulcrum function while it is detached from the housing body. The housing body has in front a horizontal reference line 325a-1 at a position isolated a predetermined distance from the top surface, extending in parallel to the top surface. When removed from the housing body, the small door, with the hook projection engaged onto the top surface, works with the horizontal reference line and functions as a level.
