To provide a wall member fitting device for a large building improving workability and capable of preventing the rupture of a wire rope by using a small, lightweight, common towing device having the minimum required tractive force even if the tow length of the wire rope changes.
The wall member 13 of the large building 11 is suspended on the inside of the existing wall 12 of the large building 11, and the wire rope 14 connected to the wall member 13 at one end is pulled through a through hole 15 bored on the existing wall 12 to pull the wall member 13 to the outside in the work for fixing the wall member 13 to the existing wall 12. This wall member fitting device is provided with a frame 17 supported on the outer wall outside face 16 of the existing wall 12 and the rope feed type towing device 18 fitted to the frame 17, horizontally pulling the wire rope 14 from the outside of the existing wall 12, and delivering the pulled wire rope 14 backward.
