Title:
WALL PAPER AND ITS PEELING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3348555
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To readily peel wall paper from wall face by plastering wall paper onto the wall face through an adhesive coated on a heat-sensitive peeling layer placed on the plastered face side of the wall paper and heating the system to a temperature higher than the melting point of the heat-sensitive peeling layer in reforming.
CONSTITUTION: A vinyl chloride resin containing a foaming agent is coated on one face of paper substrate 1, foamed, subjected to embossing process to form a decorative layer 2, and a heat-sensitive peeling layer 3 composed of paraffin wax having 50-120°C melting point is placed on the other face of the decorative layer 2 to form wall paper. Before plastering onto the wall face, an adhesive such as starch paste is coated on the heat-sensitive peeling layer of the wall paper. In reforming, hot air is blown on the surface of the wall paper by a dryer, etc., to heat the system to a temperature higher than the melting point of the heat-sensitive peeling layer 3, thus the wall paper is readily peeled off without breaking.
