To provide, to particularly shipbuilding industry, a wall structural body and a wall panel element for wall structural body which are thin, relatively low in weight, sufficiently rigid in vertical and lateral directions, and excellent in fire resistance and sound insulation.

A wall structural body 5 made of refractory material is provided with separated vertical stiffening elements 4 and a stiffening waveform plate 2 extended between a pair of adjacent vertical stiffening elements. Also a metallic surface plate 1 is fixed to the vertical stiffening element 4, and the waveform plate 2 is stuck to the surface plate 1. In addition, the waveform part of the waveform plate 2 has a height of not exceeding 20 mm, and extended between the adjacent vertical stiffening elements 4. The waveform part is faced substantially in lateral direction in order to provide a horizontal rigidity to the wall structural body.
