Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable some dusts adhered to a wall surface to be removed by a method wherein the main body of a cleaning device is sucked against the wall surface under a rotation of a fan and at the same time a rotary brush arranged in the main body of the cleaning device is rotated. CONSTITUTION:A main body 21 of a cleaning device is constructed such that a cable supporting bracket 18 is supported at a central position of the inner wall surface of a chimney 1 in such a way as it may move along the inner wall surface of the chimney along its curvature. Device moving wheels 9 are rotated around this central position so as to control its direction, thereby it may move circumferentially and so it is possible to perform an inspection while performing a continuous spiral dust removing operation. The main body 21 of the cleaning device may generate an air stream 15 under a rotation of a fan 7 and is absorbed against the wall surface. In order to remove a dust layer 3, a rotary brush 10 is rotated in such a way as an air stream 15' having the same direction as that of the air stream 15 caused by the fan 7 so as to give a shock to the dust layer 3. The dust layer 3 removed by the rotary brush 10 is blown off by the air stream 15 outwardly of the main body 21 of the cleaning device and then stored or recovered in a dust recovering box 4.
