Abstract:
PURPOSE: To introduce the reflected light of sunlight to space below at higher efficiency than a wall painted white, and ensure a lighting effect of quality higher than a flat mirror surface.
CONSTITUTION: A flat stainless steel sheet 22 is spot welded to the interior side of a wall surface facing material 17 made of an array of cylinders split so as to have corrugated appearance. Also, the exterior side of the material 17 is finished to mirror surface. As a result, direct sunlight incident from a position slantwise above is introduced slantwise in a downward direction without generating scattered light, regarding the vertical direction of the material 17. Regarding the horizontal direction, the cross section of the mirror surface of the material 17 has curvature convex toward forward space. Thus. reflected light scatters over a wide range. According to this construction, dazzle is reduced, even when the reflected light is looked at squarely, and the benefit of lighting extends even to a direction shaded against the sun. Also, a lighting effect with a faint shadow can be provided in space under the material 17 over a wide range for long hours in the daytime.
