To provide a wall unit and an earthquake-resistant wall capable of achieving sufficient earthquake resisting strength irrespective of their light weight and being constructed even while a resident stays in his/her house.
A plurality of wall units 1 are arranged in an opening part 4 partitioned by columns 2 and beams 3 to constitute the earthquake-resistant wall. This wall unit 1 has a precast concrete part 6 forming a cut-out part 6b in a corner part, a brace 7 made of steel plates, having an X shape, and buried into the precast concrete part 6 by exposing an end part 7a in the cut-out part 6a, and adhesion hardware 8 provided on an end face opposing to the column 2 or the beam 3 in the precast concrete part 6, joined with the brace 7, and having an anchoring part 8a buried into the precast concrete part 6.
