To provide an excellent wall vibration control damper with the damping capacity superior to that of an existing product by at least two times, capable of necessarily reducing the number of dampers required for vibration control of a building to one half or less, and the vibration control cost.
This wall vibration control damper comprises a slab type viscous substance container 4 storing a viscous substance therein, and a viscous resistance plate 6 immersed in the viscous substance in the container 4. Either the viscous substance container 4 or the viscous resistance plate 6 is fixed to either of upper and lower large beams 2, 3, and the other is connected in a horizontally movable manner through a remaining large beam and a rotary lever 9. A free end of a support leg 10 fixed to the large beam on the opposite side is rotatably connected to the rotary lever 9 by a connection pin 11 at the position of the specified length ratio.
