Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the durability of a stationary part by reducing concentration of stress applied to a movable part and the stationary part to a device main body by the angular moment of a toilet seat or a toilet seat lid.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided that a device main body 2 and a toilet seat rotatably connected through a movable shaft 3 to the device main body 2. A rotational reduction gear 6 is mounted on the movable shaft 3. A support 9 for mounting the rotational reduction gear 6 on the device main body 2 is formed on a cantilever beam having a fixed end 8 and a free end 10. The fixed end 8 is fixed to the device main body 2. The rotational reduction gear 6 is fixed to the free end 10. Part of stress by the angular moment of the toilet seat 4 applied through the movable shaft 3 to the rotational reduction gear 6 and a stationary part 7 to the device main body 2 is absorbed by acting the support 9 between the rotational reduction gear 6 and the device main body 2 as a cushioning material, namely, a plate spring and by cushioning effect by the support 9. This reduces concentration of stress applied to the stationary part of the device main body 2.
