Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a warm water distribution tank for a cooling tower in which want water is uniformly scattered on a filler block and the scattered water is effectively brought into contact with an air current and which has high cooling performance.
CONSTITUTION: A warm water distribution tank 5 for supplying warm water above a filler block 3 is provided, and a chilled water tank is provided under the block 3. Warm water flowing down in the block 3 is cooled by an air current. Many slits 1 are formed on a bottom of the tank 5 perpendicularly to a direction of the current. Along side of each slot 1 is a length over two intervals D or more of a filler sheet.
