Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect abrasion of a clutch by sending out a warning when the position of a clutch plate exceeds a designated range at the time of connection of clutch in response to an output signal of a clutch stroke sensor in an automatic clutch. CONSTITUTION:An automatic clutch comprises a diaphragm spring 140 for urging a clutch plate of a single plate dry-type clutch 100 to engagement side, an actuator 170 operated through a coupling member, a release fork 130 to displace the clutch plate of the clutch 100 to clutch release side, a clutch stroke sensor 2 for detecting the position of the clutch plate adapted to displace corresonding to the operation of the actuator 170, and a warning device 3 to which an output signal of the sensor is input, which is adapted to send out a warning when the position of the clutch plate exceeds a dsignated range at the time of connection of the clutch 100. In this arrangement, the abrasion amount of the clutch can be simply recognized.
