PURPOSE: To securely warn a motorcycle driver, etc. who is in a dead angle by starting speech synthesis with the left turn or right turn signal whichever comes first to the control device of a speech synthesis unit and allowing the device to respond to the following signal after the preceding warning is finished and repeating this sequence.
CONSTITUTION: When, e.g., a left-turn signal is inputted in a terminal 1, a left- turn indicating lamp 4 goes on and off. The signal, on the other hand, passes through a filter circuit 7 and turns a transistor 8 on and off, and this first on signal makes a control signal 13 operate a speech synthesis circuit 14, allowing a left- turn warning announcing speaker 21 to give warning by voice, the control circuit 13 detects the end of the warning, and the voice warning is given again through the first on signal of the transistor 8 after the end of the warning. Equally, when a backing signal is applied to a terminal 2, a speaker 22 gives a voice warning, and a desired warning can be given through a microphone 29 and, when a tail lamp signal is applied to the terminal 2 at the night time, the signal enables the sound volume to be lowered. Thus, warnings can be securely given to a motorcycle driver or a pedestrian without delay.
