Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate the warp by constituting so as to utilize the relative action among a wire rope and a flexible conductor buried in a belt and a concave and circular arc type linear motor in a conveyor warp mechanism such as a cylinder type.

CONSTITUTION: A concave and circular arc type linear motor 3-1 is arranged outside the curved section of a conveyor. On the other hand, a wire rope 5 and a flexible conductor 6 are buried in a conveyor belt 1. In this constitution, an eddy current is generated in the conductor by the traveling magnetic flux created by the linear motor 3-1, the belt travel direction thrust is obtained by the magnetic flux due to this eddy current and the traveling magnetic flux, and the absorbing force of the linear motor 3-1 is applied to the wire rope 5 to absorb the belt to the curved surface. According to this consitution, the warp can be attained easily and reasonably.
