Title:
WARP SELECTION SYSTEM IN LOOM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3373665
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the subject system designed to secure an opening on and just after the restart of a loom by keeping the excited state of a solenoid while preventing its overheating during the halt of the loom.
CONSTITUTION: This system is so designed as to be equipped with a knife making reciprocating motions synchronously with the main shaft 30 of a loom, a needle to be connected to a warp while to be selectively hooked on the knife, an electromagnetic actuator 60 to selectively hold the needle, a signal processing means 64 to deliver driving signals based on specified weave pattern information, a means 61 to detect the revolution of the main shaft 30, a means 62 to assess the halt of the main shaft 30 based on the results from the means 61, a dispatch means 63 to make oscillations at a specified frequency while the results mean a halt and, otherwise, to deliver signals at a specified level, and a means 66 to drive the electromagnetic actuator 60 based on the product of the driving signal and the signal from the dispatch means 63.
