Title:
WARP TENSION CONTROLLER IN PILE WEAVING LOOM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008127691
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To change over the tension of ground warp between a low state for a pile weaving step and a high state for a border weaving step during weaving.

A warp tension controller is composed as follows: negative easing of a tension roller 3 in the pile weaving step is carried out by a first torsion bar 45. In the border weaving step, a stopper 65 is engaged with an abutment surface 64 of a stop lever 60. The high tension of the ground warp (T) is received with the first torsion bar 45 and a second torsion bar 46 and the tension roller 3 is urged with greater urging force. When excessive tension according to a warp shedding movement is produced, the second torsion bar 46 can be twisted through a tension pipe 14 with the one end side fixing the stop lever 60 as a basic point to absorb the excessive tension. As a result, the negative easing can be carried out while maintaining the high tension state of the ground warp T during the border weaving with the first torsion bar 45 and the second torsion bar 46.
