To provide a wash basin facility in which a hand is detected accurately by a Doppler sensor and a spouting from a spouting member can be controlled precisely.
In the wash-basin facility, a washbasin 20 is fixed on a wall surface W by a fixture 19. Water on the bowl surface 21 of the washbasin 20 is discharged through a drain inlet 22 and a drain pipe 23. A discharge opening 22 is arranged at a center in the horizontal direction of the washbasin 20. A faucet 29 is supplied with city water through a wall water-supply pipe 25, a straight stop valve 26, a solenoid valve 27 and connecting piping 28. A controller 30 for the solenoid valve 27 is installed to a lower section on the left half side of the washbasin 20. The doppler sensor 8 is mounted on the controller 30. A control signal from the controller 30 is transmitted to the solenoid valve 27 through a harness 32 on the basis of a detecting signal from the sensor 8, and the solenoid valve 27 is opened and closed.
