PURPOSE: To improve the optimum utilization of the solid chemicals such as for deodorization, etc., by placing the chemicals on the midway of a flow path toward a cistern from a wash basin or throwing them into the cistern and using them.
CONSTITUTION: In a wash basin 4, discharged water from a discharge pipe 5 is dropped at approximately the center of the ball 4a of the wash basin 4, water-conveying paths 4b recessed at the places, where discharged water is dropped, of the base of the ball 4a are formed, the holding sections 4d of chemicals M are formed to sections surrounded by a rim 4c at the end sections of the water-conveying paths 4b, and a perforated plate 6 is assembled previously to a bottom section. Accordingly, when the solid chemicals M are positioned into the holding sections 4d as they are, the chemicals M are exposed to water because water from the discharge pipe 5 flows into the holding sections 4d through the water-conveying paths 4b, and components eluate and are recovered into a cistern, and flow out into a stool as wash water containing the chemicals.
