Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary antenna and its assembling method where an O-ring is not damaged or broken in the case of forming a holder fitting groove in an antenna base and inserting a mount holder to the groove so as to ensure the assembling and compression of the O-ring is stably obtained over a long period.
SOLUTION: The rotary antenna has a structure such that a holder fitting groove 25 to which a mount holder 12 is fitted is formed in an end of an antenna base 20, a sheet washer 26 is interposed between an O-ring 14 and a rotary contact face and the holder is fitted to the antenna base freely turnably by a drive shaft 13. The rotary antenna assembling method includes a process where at one end of a thin film sheet 27, a sheet washer 26 having an outer circumferential notch 28 easily separable and a center pin hole 13 is formed integrally with the sheet and overlapped onto the O-ring 14, a process where the overlapped materials are inserted to the holder fitting groove 25, a process where the holder 12 with the O-ring 14 fitted thereto and the film sheet 27 are fitted to the antenna base 20 in a way of being freely turnable by the drive shaft 13, and a process where undesired parts other than the sheet washer 26 are removed.
