PURPOSE: To provide a washing apparatus using organic solvent, eliminating the danger of fire explosion and meeting the demand of preservation of environment by guiding the washing soln. in an immersion washing tank to a distillation tower and performing vapor washing in a vapor washing chamber using distilled and purified org. solvent vapor and condensing and overcooling uncondensed solvent vapor to return the same to an immersion cooling tank.
CONSTITUTION: A washing apparatus has a drying chamber 5, an immersion washing chamber 6, an immersion washing tank 9, an immersion cooling tank 11, a vapor washing chamber 7, a feed out and in condenser 27 and a condenser 8 and a mixture of an org. solvent and air is guided to the feed out and in condenser 27 without being passed through the washing chambers 6, 7 and the condensed org. solvent is returned to a distillation tower 13 while air is discharged out of the system as non-condensed gas. The temp. control mechanism controlling the temp. of the washing soln. in the immersion washing tank 9 and the cooling mechanism in the immersion cooling tank 11 are provided and the washing soln. in the immersion washing tank 9 is guided to the distillation tower 13 to be distilled and purified and the vapor of the purified org. solvent is guided to the vapor washing chamber 7 to be distilled and purified and the vapor of the non-condensed solvent is condensed and overcooled by the condenser 8 to be returned to the immersion cooling tank 11.
