To provide a washing apparatus capable of more efficiently and certainly removing not only the persistent adherent material strongly caked on an object to be washed but also the adherent material remaining on the whole surface of the object to be washed and to more efficiently reuse a used washing liquid to largely conserve washing water.

This washing apparatus is constituted so that the object 8 to be washed is transferred to a first washing part 1 using a liquid jet stream containing a particulate material, a second washing part 2 using a liquid jet stream containing no particulate material and a rinsing/washing part 3 using fresh water and the washing liquid or fresh water sent under pressure by a pump is sprayed on the object 8 to be washed from jet nozzles 9-21 to wash the object 8 to be washed. The fresh water used in the rinsing/washing part 3 is reused as the washing liquid of the second washing part 2 after foreign matter is removed from the used fresh water by a filter and the washing liquid used in the second washing part 2 is reused as the washing liquid of the first washing part 1 after foreign matter is further removed by the filter.
