To provide a washing brush with a cover, which has excellent durability, enables the prevention of damage to a bottom surface of a container even if the end of the washing brush is brought into contact with the bottom surface of the container, and enables suppression of production cost.

The washing brush 1 with the cover has a washing brush 2 with a handle, which is provided with a rod-shaped brush body 4 wherein many fibers are attached for fixation in such a manner as to be sandwiched between two twisted wires, and a bag-shaped washing cover 3 made of fabric, which is mounted on the brush body 4 while covering the brush body 4. The washing cover 3 is composed of a cylindrical knit fabric. The base end of the washing cover 3 is provided with a contraction part 12 with great elasticity, which is smaller in diameter than the brush body 4, and at least the contraction part 12, put into a contracted state, is disposed in a base end-side short fiber brush part 8b, which is a small-diameter part on the base-end side of the brush body 4. The end of the brush body 4 is provided with a thick shock-absorbing part 11, which is formed of double knit in a substantially blocked state by making a peripheral wall converge, and the end of the brush body 4 is covered with the shock-absorbing part 11.
