Title:
WASHING DEVICE OF GOLF BALL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0928837
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To wash many golf balls automatically and mechanically and brush off all resin attachments by providing rotary brushes rotatably at positions where brush-hairs butt against golf balls to be delivered by being carried on a rail by the pitches of a screw.

Golf balls G are put equally into either of right and left delivery spaces 37a, 37b, and are guided by means of the stand part of a V type rail 45 and fit between the mountains 42, 42 of a delivery screw 40, that is, the pitch. Then, the screw 40 of a washing unit 30 is rotated, so the golf balls G are moved forward by being pushed by the mountains 42, and the golf balls G are rotated lengthwise by the force of being pushed by the mountains 42, and are rotated laterally by the frictional force of being brushed by the brush- hairs 52 of rotary brushes 50a, 50b provided rotatably at positions where the brush-hairs 52 butt against the golf balls G, and thus the golf balls G are rotated lengthwise and laterally. Accordingly, All the surfaces of the golf balls G, G are brushed with the brush-hairs 52 of the rotary brushes 50a, 50b respectively, and attachments of a resin quality stuck onto the surfaces can be scraped off.
