Abstract:
To perform a proper washing operation by eliminating, as soon as possible, an erroneous detection of the amount of objects to be washed caused by wet and difference in cloth quality, as, even though in a washing and dewatering machine, the amount of washing water, the amount of medicine such as a detergent and the like, and process time are automatically adjusted according to the amount of objects to be washed which are inputted in a drum, when a wet object to be washed is mixed, an error occurs in the determination of the amount, and when the cloth quality of the object to be washed is different, the extent of an error caused by wet varies.SOLUTION: A relation between a limit value and acceleration time of a drum driving force by each cloth quality of objects to be washed and the amount of objects to be washed is registered. After a drum in which the objects to be washed are inputted in a state where water is supplied in a washing tub is rotated at a fixed speed or oscillated to make the objects to be washed contain water, torque limit is imposed on a drum driving motor, and an acceleration command is issued and time before reaching a target speed is measured. Based on the measured time, the amount of objects to be washed is estimated, and based on the estimation result, a set value of a washing program is changed and a washing operation is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
