To provide a washing and disinfecting apparatus having an easy and economical mechanism which is capable of detecting a water level of a liquid surely and accurately with space-saving and no false detection.
The apparatus has a first part 60 of a water level sensor 32, an earth electrode 63, a second part 61, a first water level electrode 64 having a first predetermined distance B1 toward a side surface 60a in a spacing direction R and hanging from the second part 61 to the first water level H1, a second water level electrode 65 having the first predetermined distance B1 toward the side surface 60a in the spacing direction R and hanging from the second part 61 to the second water level H2, and a control part for detecting a liquid stored to the first water level H1 when the earth electrode 63 and the first water level electrode 64 electrically conduct through the liquid while detecting the liquid stored to the second water level H2 when the earth electrode 63 and the second water level electrode 64 electrically conduct through the liquid, and stopping the supply of the liquid to a washing and disinfecting bath.
