To provide a washing and drying machine capable of determining the end of drying by accurately detecting the dried state of a laundry.
A washing and drying machine having an outer box 1, a water tub 5 disposed in the outer box 1, tub 6 freely rotatably disposed in the water tub 5 and a hot air generator 19 for supplying hot air to the tub 6 is provided with first and second temperature detecting means 49 and 51 for detecting a temperature in the vicinity of the water tub 5, a dried state determining means 54 for determining the dried state of a laundry based on the outputs of the temperature detecting means 49 and 51, and a control means 55 for controlling the hot air generator 19 based on the output of the dried state determining means 54.
