Abstract:
To provide a washing and drying machine capable of drying laundry neither too much nor too little.
The controller of the washing and drying machine 1 determines the water content of the laundry housed inside a drum 4 (moisture contained in the laundry) on the basis of a temperature detection result obtained by a temperature detection sensor 30 for detecting the temperature of air which flows into a circulation air path 29 from the inside of a water tank 2. The controller changes the total heat to be generated by a heater 23 for hot air provided in a hot air supplier 21 in a drying process, according to the determined water content of the laundry.
