PURPOSE: To efficiently remove oily dirt by sufficiently adhering a detergent to dirt without changing down of detergent from a vertical face, etc., by foamily spraying a detergent containing a hyrophilic solvent, a basic compound and a thickener, and having a specific range of viscosity.
CONSTITUTION: This detergent contains (A) a hydrophilic solvent (preferably an alcohol having a boiling point at normal pressure of ≥100°C such as 3- methyl-3-methoxybutanol), (B) a basic compound (e.g. NaOH) and (C) a thickener (preferably bentonite-based aluminum.magnesium.silicate) as essential components, and has a viscosity adjusted to 50-5000Pas at 25°C. The detergent is sprayed onto a washing surface by using a foam-type sprayer. To adjust the viscosity of the detergent to 50-5000Pas, preferably 10-20wt.% the component A is mixed with 5wt.% the component B and 0.5-5wt.% the component C.
