Abstract:
To provide an inverter device for suppressing heat generation of a switching element and generating a braking torque in a motor in a one-shunt system.SOLUTION: The inverter device includes: an inverter circuit 3; a current detecting element for generating a signal corresponding to a current value; and a PWM signal generating unit for determining a rotor position on the basis of a phase current of a motor to generate a three-phase PWM signal pattern; and a current detection unit 7 for detecting a phase current on the basis of a signal generated in the current detecting element and a PWM signal pattern. The PWM signal generating unit performs three-phase modulation for generating a three-phase PWM signal pattern so that the current detection unit can detect a two-phase current at two points in a carrier cycle of the PWM signal. Further included is a braking control unit 22 for performing only one of short circuit on an upper phase side or a lower phase side of the inverter circuit in short-circuit brake of a second brake mode by switching a short circuit on the upper phase side of the inverter circuit and a short circuit on the lower phase side in the short-circuit brake of the first brake mode when generating braking torque on the motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
