PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine in which an antifouling function is applied at a portion where the function is utilized most effectively.SOLUTION: A washing machine of the embodiment is the washing machine in which a side part of a rotary tub which is provided in a water tub rotatably is formed by caulking and joining both end parts of a metal plate material.
