Abstract:
PURPOSE: To wash a transport container effectively by scrubbing the bottom portion of the transport container, scraping off dirt.
CONSTITUTION: At the halfway point of a transport passage by means of a roller conveyor 2 for a transport container 1, transport is carried out by pinching securely the side portions of the transport container 1 by means of a pair of pinching-in belts 4. At this time, rotary brushes 3 provided so as to form the transport passage surface for the transport container 1 are rotated in the direction opposite to the transport direction, and dirt at the bottom of the transport container 1 is scraped off. Dirt thus scraped off is collected by means of an air suction pipe 6 through a refuse receiver 5.
