Abstract:
To provide a washing machine capable of informing in advance a volume of water to be used and enhancing a user's consciousness for conserving water before beginning of washing.
The washing machine containing laundry in a rotating tub and carrying out washing and dewatering is structured as follows. A volume of the laundry and a volume of water supplied from the water line are made associably memorized. When the volume of the laundry in the rotating tub is detected before washing, a volume of water supply memorized in correspondence with the volume of the laundry is displayed by displaying means 19, 20.
