To provide a washing machine excellent in tub washing.
A washing machine comprises an outer cover 9a with a water channel member 50 in an outer tank 9 so that a city water can be supplied from a water supplying unit to the water channel member 50. In the water channel member 50 formed is a lateral face watering port 50b1 for watering indirectly to an outer peripheral portion of a balance ring 8c of a washing/dewatering bin 8. In the water channel member 50 also formed is a bottom surface side watering port 50a1 for watering at an upper portion of the lateral face of the balance ring 8c. A city water, which is watered at the outer peripheral portion of the balance ring 8c, is blown up to an inner peripheral surface 9s of the outer tank 9 due to the centrifugal force caused by the rotation of the washing/dewatering bin 8. The city water hits the inner peripheral surface 9s and then flows down on the inner peripheral surface 9s due to the effects of the gravitational force.
