Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a state where a power supply of a body is turned on from continuing, in the case where abnormality occurs in a display panel.SOLUTION: A washing machine of an embodiment includes a display panel which is configured by including a plurality of pieces of LEDs on an outer surface part of a washing machine body. The washing machine includes: an LED driver for driving and controlling the plurality of pieces of LEDs; a control device for transmitting data for LED drive with respect to the LED driver; determination means for determining whether or not communication between the control device and the LED driver is performed normally; and power supply shutdown means for shutting down power supply with respect to the washing machine body, when communication abnormality is determined by the determination means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
