Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which enables movement of a rotational position of a rotary tub, when such the movement is required by a user, and enables improvement of usability.SOLUTION: A washing machine of the embodiment includes: a rotary tub in which laundry is accommodated so as to be put in/taken out, which has a function part and which is connected to a dewatering shaft; an agitation body arranged rotatably in the rotary tub, and connected to a washing shaft; a washing machine motor; a clutch for switching between a state in which a driving force of the washing machine motor is transmitted to the dewatering shaft and a state in which it is transmitted to the washing shaft; operation input means which can be operated by a user; and control means. The control means enables movement of a rotational position of the rotary tub by switching the clutch to the dewatering shaft side on the basis of the operation of the operation input means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
