Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which has improved a washing effect by low power consumption and low manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: In an elaborate washing course, a water level corresponding to a cloth amount detected by cloth amount detection means 28 and a detergent amount which is substantially double the standard detergent amount corresponding to the water level are displayed, and after rotating a washing and dewatering tub 1 for predetermined time by supplying water to substantially half of the water level together with the detergent, an agitation operation by a pulsator 2 is performed. Then, after performing a predetermined soaking step, in a washing step, an operation is performed by supplying water to the water level corresponding to the cloth amount. With this constitution, as the operation is performed in the state where detergent concentration is high with low water level, after the detergent liquid has sufficiently permeated in laundry, the laundry is brought into a strong contact with the pulsator 2, and a washing effect can be enhanced by a mechanical force and a detergent force, while suppressing manufacturing cost.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
