PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the self-priming period of time for bathtub water or the like by providing a self-priming type pump which works as a vacuum pump to evacuate air in a suction pipe at the beginning, and works as a storage pump after the air in the suction pipe is evacuated, and using one section of a water supply by a water supply means for self-priming of the self-priming pump.
SOLUTION: In a rear housing box of the washing machine, a tap water faucet, a water supply electromagnetic valve, a self-priming type pump to suck bathtub water, or the like are housed. When the self-priming type pump is operated, first, the water supply electromagnetic valve is opened, and one section of a water supply is poured into a priming port 35, and after water is filled to air-water separating chambers 50i and 50j, water is made to flow into a pump runner chamber 28 from a water returning hole 52a of a partition plate 52. Then, the priming action is displayed by the rotation of a runner 53 by a motor 54, and bathtub water is suckled up from a water suction hose through a water suction tap 36, and is fed to a washing tank. Then, for the self-priming type pump, air in the water suction hose is eliminated, and when a suction chamber 50b is filled with the bathtub water, the self-priming type pump is moved to a pumping up process of the bathtub water by the pumping action of the pump runner chamber 28.
