Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more decrease vibration and noise of operation even though the agitator and the rotary drum of a washing machine are direct driven by a brushless motor.
SOLUTION: This washing machine is composed of a rotary drum which is set rotatably inside an outer tub, an agitator set possible to turn inside the rotary drum, a brushless motor 20 to drive directly this agitator or this agitator and the rotary drum, and a Hall IC 31 which detects turning position of the rotor of this brushless motor 20 and out puts position sensor signals. Also, it is composed of a controlling device 67 to form an energizing signal of an almost sine wave like, which is based on the position sensor signal from the Hall IC 31 and a turning on electricity device 58 to switch on the brushless motor 20 based on the energizing signals from the controlling device 67.
