Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine comprising a self-priming pump for suctioning bath water, for utilizing remaining warm water in a bath for washing laundry, which solves the problem in which, when tap water utilized as drinking water is supplied as priming water through an electromagnetic valve, there may occur a phenomenon that the bath water is reversely flown into a pipe line of the tap water for some reasons, and the occurrence of the reverse flow causes the reversed bath water to be taken from another faucet connected to the pipe line of the tap water, to contaminate water in the pipe line of the tap water with the bath water, thus having hygienically-undesirable effects on the water as drinking water, and which includes a priming water passage configuration for the new self-priming pump for suctioning the bath water, eliminating the possibility that the bath water is reversely flown into the pile line of the tap water.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes a self-priming pump for suctioning bath water, in which water in a washing water tank is circulated through a circulating passage outside the washing water tank by a circulating pump in a washing step and/or a rinsing step, and priming water for the self-priming pump for suctioning the bath water is supplied from the circulating passage.
