Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine in which a dry state of a drain filter is attained after a washing operation ends to suppress a generation of an unpleasant odor.SOLUTION: The washing machine comprises: a housing 1; a water tub 2 provided within the housing 1; a drum 3 provided so as to be rotatable within the water tub 2; a motor 8 for rotationally driving the drum 3; a water supply path including a water supply piping 10 and a water supply valve 9 for supplying washing water into the water tub 2; a drain path including a drain piping 14 and a drain valve 13 and a drain filter 16 and connected to a bottom part of the water tub 2 for draining washing water in the water tub 2 to the outside of the machine; an air blowing path 17 branched from a halfway of the drain path including the drain filter 16 and connected to an outflow portion 20 of the water tub 2; a first air blowing portion 19 provided in the air blowing path 17; and a controller 25 for executing a washing operation. The controller 25 is configured to execute a drain filter drying step for drying the drain filter 16 by driving the first air blowing portion 19 to circulate air in the water tub 2 via the drain filter 16 into the water tub 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
