PURPOSE: To facilitate the exchange of a bearing ring or single bearing member by surrounding a drum supporting means with the exchangeable bearing ring for a drum and providing a housing with an opening capable of being approached to the bearing and facilitating the exchange thereof.
CONSTITUTION: One bearing shell 26 is operated as a bearing for a connection piece 29 of a drum 15 between two adjacent housing portions 14. A bearing ring 31 composed of mutually connected ring segments is provided as a bearing for respective connection pieces 29. These ring segments are constituted as sliders 32 mutually connected by a connection link 33 attached to each drum connection piece 29. Thus, a sliding surface is formed for sliding only the radially outside surface of the slider 32 on each bearing shell 26. Wearing caused by friction occurs only on the slider 32 essentially. However, these sliders can be easily exchanged through the extension part of an engage opening 231 at the upper portion of an opening 24 having no bearing shell.
